FISHING
The Kootenay Boundary is home to numerous lakes, creeks and rivers, many that are suitable for fishing. Waterbodies in this area can be impacted by low water flows and high temperatures which can have devastating impacts to populations of fish and aquatic species. GFWA encourages anglers to read up on the annual fishing regulations and keep up to date on seasonal closures.

3D Archery Hunter’s Shoot
We will be hosting a Hunter's 3D Shoot on August 16th & 17th at the Grand Forks Rodeo Grounds with our neighbours, the Kettle Wildlife Association. There will be 2 courses of 20 targets, free dry camping, and a concession with pancake breakfast and BBQ lunch on both days.
